Today I'm linking up with Erin. Not only do "I believe" this is a great topic, but I've also been admiring Erin's blog from afar, and she seems like a girl after my own heart. Maybe someday she'll let me guest blog for her...(Hint Hint).
Anyway, I believe in a lot of things, so, here.we.go:
i believe...
in to-do lists.
in song lyrics that say exactly what I'm feeling.
in date nights. at least once a week.
in this motto:
in the right to do whatever you want to on a Friday night.
especially if it includes not leaving the house.
in true love.
that everything in life is a choice.
in ghosts and the afterlife.
i just have to. it's easier to believe than that death is the end.
i just have to. it's easier to believe than that death is the end.
that this blog will be successful someday.
that "That's what she said" jokes will never get old and will make me laugh every single time.
that laughter is the best medicine, especially after a good cry.
in being independent.
that change is what you make of it.
in forgiveness.
where would so many of us be without it?
in good people and kind souls.
it's what you learn from them that shapes you.
that everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion.
that I am not the only woman over 13 who thinks Justin Bieber and Hunter Hayes are totes adorbs.
that two of the best movies of all time are Christmas Vacation and The Karate Kid.
in good manners.
It's amazing how far a little "please" and "thank" you will get you.
It's amazing how far a little "please" and "thank" you will get you.
that Sundays were made for either lying on the couch or drinking beer all day at a bar.
that spray tans are an instant confidence boost, as are getting your hair, makeup or nails done.
that Mother Teresa had it right:
that it's not what you have but who you share it with.
that sarcasm makes the world go round.
that fear is the worst reason not to do anything.
the sole reason I'm doing Tough Mudder next week. (NEXT WEEK!)
in wine and sparkling C's with my mom, sisters and girls.
in honesty, even when it hurts to hear or share.
that good things come to those who wait.
That this is the definition of true friendship:
that no one is perfect.
But mostly, that life is too short to be anything but happy and appreciative.
What do you believe?
I believe that in this post...
